Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster with Spectrum Sports Net, is currently in her fifth year as a player for the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie Clifton is an Emmy-winning sportscaster who has more than 10 years of experience in sideline reporting and sports journalistic work. She has also participated in competitive basketball for more than 10 seasons. Allie was a sports reporter as well as a reporter for features at ABC Action News 13 (WTVG), and worked as an analyst for color and sideline in the broadcasting of Buckeye Sports' high-school college and collegiate volleyball, basketball and track and field. As an Ohio native, Clifton graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Analysis and Communications and A Master's Degree in liberal Studies. Her basketball career continued to be successful during her time at UT after a successful academic career in high school, with her being the captain of her school's inaugural league champion team. In 2010, she led the team, which was included in the Mid-American Conference West Division, to take home the championship. Clifton is also no acquaintance with The Q and has played there in the MAC Tournament during her four seasons in Toledo.
